Default G80 Rear End Squeaks???

When I take corners at low speeds it sounds like some kind of belt squeak noise is coming from the rear end? Only in turns- any idea what this is- Could it be the differntial engaging or some sort of ride control??? It happens everytime and is only when turning at low speeds. It is not comming from the front- Dealer says that some sort of "mystery" piece of rubber is hitting somewhere- where do they get some of these people?
Any good dealers in New England.

Thanks for the help.

Well still no replys-

Does anyone recommend replacing the G80 locker? I dont know what else could be causing this squeak that only happens in a turn from a stop....

Thanks-

Ben,
A few suggestions before dropping dime on a new locker. How old are your shocks? They could be doing this.
A locker usually will "clunk" not squeak, but cheap and easy would be to drain the fluid and replace. Remember to put in a bottle of posi additive. That may be all you need.

My dealer recommended I put in the additive with the synthetic. It was not that expensive and I have had no problems with it in there at all.

I heard it is actually a posi and not a locker, so I would think it needs the additive but I am not very sure of this. Maybe you have the wrong fluid mixture and that is causing this sound.

The g80 locker takes 75w90 synthetic. I am currently using Lucas syn. The Lucas has a climbing additive in it, so you dont have to add any. its cheap too @ $9.00 a bottle. My rear makes a squeek too, its the bushing in the lowered shackles . try lubing them up.

Thanks for the replies. I tried driving around in circle's from a stop (under 20mph) and it squeaks the entire way around while I give it gas. i am going to try replacing the fluid this weekend- I am almost positive it is not the shocks

(yes i removed them and drove around like an idiot this morning)

My neighbors probably think I installed hydraulics, just what I need now. I am the crazy neighbor that takes a perfectly good brand new truck and makes it ridiculously loud, too fast and bouncy like p diddy music video)
