Default G80 on its way...

I think my rear end is going out. Sometimes when I make left or right turns the tires get stuck locked and you can hear the tires hopping. It goes away, but I think its early signs of the rear end going out. Anyone have similar problems? Maybe time for an Eaton E-Locker.

I don't have the same problem but from what I hear you will like the eaton better anyway. I have a powertrax no slip and it works great

Don't go with an E-locker. I've heard very bad things about them. It's a relatively new product and they don't have all the bugs worked out of it.

If you want to control when the lock up happens then look into an air locker. They've been around longer and have proven themselves more. But they're big $$$!

The E-Locker is not a performance piece, it's for off-road use really. You canot lock it up under power or above certain speeds. Ever looked at a G80 up close? It's like a clock. Tiny gears, cogs, flyweights, etc. The spider gears are known to chip pretty bad. You might want to pop the cover and have a look. Don't wait for it to come undone, when these things break the only thing holding your axle from flying out will be the caliper.
