Ive had my plugs turn that green/yellow below. I just assumed it was a fuel additive as well.

I'm thinking that a bad lifter has fucked up airflow to hole #1 and its made it run very rich. Now to clean the lifter out... ******* royal purple...

I did and the issue started shortly there after.

There are spots of what honestly looks like wet RTV in there though. Really chaps my ***.

a little trans fluid should dissolve it. or the filter will catch it all eventually.

I like seafoam for top end and trans fluid for bottom end.

a wet nitrous kit or methanol is also a great top end cleaner.

i ran royal purple most of my engines life and at 123k disassembly it was full of sludge. this is at 3-5k change intervals
