What's this telling me? Am I burning coolant?

There is no coolant in the oil, and I oil in the coolant from what I can tell. The truck is running dexcool.

Where do you buy your gas? It's probably a fuel additive.

Thing is it was only on one hole. I'll post a pic of others tonight for comparison.

Just sell the truck to me. Lol. I was thinking some kind of additive also but you shot that idea down w/ it only being on one cylinder

As we talked about rob, I had that with VP110 but it was all 8. With it being one hole, umm. Kinda odd. Throw some fresh ones in it and monitor.

It's very weird.

On a possibly related note this truck has spots of sludge in the motor... very strange as its incredibly clean otherwise. It's a turbo 4.8 that had Royal Purlple put in it when all the work was done about 1k miles ago.

The sludge almost looks like RTV that hasnt dried yet. I'm almost positive it has completely clogged a lifter on that hole and its tapping like crazy. I am going to do my best to get it unclogged.

I'm going to take this approach:

Could a bad lifter possibly cause airflow discrepencies in that hole which caused the discoloration on the plug? Maybe its running fatter than the others were? The lifter tap just started...

Transmission fluid, replace 1 quart with it. Then I'll run it for several hundred miles or the whole oil change.
