Default Found out how to read my turbo. Its not a T76, its smaller.

I called up a few diesel performance places, and other turbo shops and found out how to tell the specs of my bigger turbo. Its right on the front of the compressor, STAMPED. I guess i was to dumb to figure it out.

Its a T72 with a .50A/R compressor. I dont know about the exhaust side and dont care. It spools fast, thats all i care about. Besides, it was free.

I'm going to sell the smaller one on eBay and use that money to buy the oil pump i need to finnish the project.

Oh, and a little info for those 4x4 guys ripping out of the hole. I went yesterday to have the front end realligned and they told me BOTH lower ball joints were bad. I had the bottle in it, and driving it you can tell it has a stall, but other than that and the boost gauge they wouldnt have known anything.

Anyway, the guy at the front i talked to is a race intheusiest so he knew what i had been doing. He said "Do you spray off the line much in 4hi?" I said, "No, just when there's something in the bottle" LOL. He said the reason the ball joints went bad is because all the power pulling the front end puts a huge strain on the spindles and ball joints.

Just wondering if any of you guys have had yours go bad?
