Determining radiator width for e-fans 28" or 34"
Okay, we know that the 05 e-fans will work with the 34" wide radiator. Where is this measured? I am pretty sure it is the width of the cooling fins, without the tank, right?
I measured my 03 with the 5.3 and it is about 28" across the fins but 34" across the tanks. I am pretty sure I have the smaller radiator because I can see the other mounting holes for the bigger ones. Just trying to confirm I have the small one. Radiator, that is.

You measured it right. You have the small radiator and need to get the bigger one to put the fans on. The measurement across the fins is what is important.
