Default FN OIL FILTERS METRIC BS need help

OK new engine going together crate motor
got the 12599806 oil pan which has no bypass valve..perfect
except its got a dang 22 x 1.5 fitting for the oil filter..
and nobody makes a 22.5 racing style filter with no bypass.

so does anybody make and adaptor the will convert to the old style 13/16 thread>>>
I can't find Gm part number for one and sure they fupped the thread size in the pan tooi..anybody have any info>
wtf are the racign guys using in the camero and corvettes?

I do not want a oil bypassing filter...

Try Joe's Racing Products, they are pretty good for adapters and filters.

They changed the adapter sometime in the early 2000s.

The earlier SAE style fits right in. Unscrew the metric, screw in the other.

Looks kinda like this from left hand garage. Has a large Allen drive.
