I had a set of flowtechs on my old 81 chevy, never had any problems. I bought them used at a garage sale, prepped them and sprayed some 1500 degree silver paint on them - I was in highschool at the time...

I had to use copper gaskets, the paper ones were worthless.

Ask this on LS1Tech.com, I'm sure you'll get a ton of acurate info for LS1 high performance parts and mods.

Ive checked out a few Flowtech sets at work that have been returned. Primary blown loose from the flange. Seemed IMO common. Flowtech and good dont really belong in the same sentence........ Or thread.

I've heard of flowtech not being too good on late model trucks.. I had a set offered to me a week ago and iafter close inspection i noticed that the welds on the primaries were pretty bad.. My father is a welder and said he could fix the problem but i'm not to trusting of Flowtech after i had a set that sucked on an 85 chevy w/ a 383 stroker... I wouldn't suggest them to anyone best i've found so far are Pacesetters

Take a look at how shitty they build their damn cutouts that right there will keep me from buying their headers. I wouldnt mess with em either. 99silver6.0 works at a speed shop the best I can tell he has access to all the new speed parts that come out and all of that.
