Thank you UnVmy5.3! I appreciate it man. LS Fest is always a blast. Looking forward to this years event. Hopefully the Camaro will make this one again.

I can't remember if you have a build thread on your 87 c10 that replaced the stolen 84 c10.
But I just wanted to see if you had any updates on this set up and see how many miles you put on it by now?

I've got roughly 18k miles on it since doing this and putting it into my truck. I've had no issues and I beat the mess out of it. Changing the valve stem seals did fix the smoke issue. I drove it on the Hot Rod Power tour in 2015, which was a total of about 2600 miles for me. I towed another C10 truck on a trailer to LS Fest and back, which was about 400 miles total. I've carried a load to Texas and back as I'm moving. That was another 15 hour drive each way.
I've since added a 3200 Circle D Stall.
Let me get some links.
It's good to hear from you agian FastBrick!

I'm going to be doing a big build soon and I was looking back at some of these old threads for inspiration while I am waiting for things to show up.
I came across something saying they recovered part of your old 84 C10. I am not on social media so I couldn't get all the details.

Yesssir! They found my truck and many others at a meth head scrap yard, 3.5 years after it was stolen. The body was gone, but I got the power train back. I sold off most of the parts already since I dont need them, but I kept the engine to possibly put into my wife's Tahoe. It's a 5.3 that I worked the heads on. I did a .030" mill, 2" LS1 intake vavles, home ported and PAC1218 springs.
For my current truck though, I just picked up a BTR stage 4 cam.. I got an itch to hear the cam that I finally gave into. The 220r has done well, but I had to feed the itch and move on from the "Sleeper" cam.
