Now that I think of it, I'm kindof glad I didn't get a 5.3 If the 5.3 option was roughly $700 more and a 6.0 swap is roughly $1500 then I didn't lose out on anything. .
Yep you didnt lose ...other than losing to RCSB 5.3s

Yeah, until I swap in a 6.0. Or maybe I'll just dump this fuel injected crap and go for a 632ci big block with nitrous and a quad turbo setup and alcohol and propane and and and. What then?

By the way everyone... i was the one saying i had the "freak 4.8" and well it was a joke and still i realize that it is not the fastest truck in the world and well actually all i wanted to do in the beginning is to prove to my town that i have the fastest truck and yes i do live in a small town and yes i do have the fastest street legal truck IN MY TOWN!!! i got what i wanted.... my purpose of this forum is to see whether i wanted to go with a bigger motor when i go to college and whether i could still have fun with it and still get descent gas mileage and well i hate to say it but it doesnt matter how fast ur truck is, there will always be someone out there faster.....with me saying that, i would also like to add that everyone has to do their own thing, whether they are going for a full out race truck or just a nice quick ride....so i appreciate everyone making it clear to me what to do, and i believe i will just take what i have for now and decide whether i wanna go fast or.... faster.... later, and no, i dont wanna put my life savings into my truck there are alot more important things in life than trucks to me (others may beg to differ). dont get me wrong i love to go fast and fix up my truck but there come a point where some peop find a stopping point(sadly enough i have not found it yet) and well others never seem to find it and others die trying to get it to that point....so it is just whatever u want... there is no use in arguing over stupid stuff (whose faster)... so what if ur faster? it doestn amount to crap in the end? it is all a personal thing like self pride for all the time and work that u did to a truck to make it look good or run out of this world... peop can look at a truck and see what kind of work u have put into it .... so yeah u can take that as it is and well i know i will catch a lot of crap for saying what i think.... thanks

Like the little dude said "it is all on what YOU want to do to YOUR own truck." Just don't be a JACKHOLE like Slowerado and start making up a bunch of crap that you have done and you will be fine.
