i saw that they milled the deck .018 and you wanted to run .040 gaskets. did you measure how far your piston was above the deck? if you're running a .040 gasket you may be running it pretty tight on quench space.

2 1/2 or 3 inch exhaust? y and split or true duals?

X or H and what mufflers to keep drone and not be so loud I wake the dead?

H or X is personal preference. they will all drone, but i would think a large magnaflow muffler would do the trick. they have some large mufflers with the x built into it.

i think that's the one i run on my HD. it sounds great, but it still has factory manifolds and converters. if it's too loud or raspy, just add long bullets into the I pipes before the muffler.
