Default Changed to 3 inch exhaust

I got some free 3" Polished SS pipe to make it to the muffler. Added vbands from headers to new Magnaflow dual 3" in and out, plus changed out the tips. I wanted to be able to drop the exhaust for a tranny pull and was tired of uncapping the cut outs at the track. Now its frickin too loud

Not usually a fan of exhaust tips but those look good there.

What size magnaflow did you go with? And what size exhaust did you run before?

I got the polished 3" Pyles and they look awesome, but I didn't want to stick them out because I was afraid it would be too much BLING with the rear widow sticker and clear tail lights. They are dead even with the lip of the roll pan and tucked in tight.

The vid does no justice to the volume. I will have to get one on the road.

Idle Vid Video by Pit-man | Photobucket

Previous exhaust was Pacesetter headers and 2-1/2" with cutouts.
Now I have TSP headers and a Magnaflow dual in/out 3" with x-pipe inside.

This is a pic from Maryland in November this year. I ran six runs at 11.3xx and getting 6.5 degrees of knock. Not sure what is going on yet. I am still playing with the tune. My tranny was still short shifting but I finally got it right last weekend. Now I need some good air. I have been going to GreenCove 1/8th mile track. Not much traction yet, sixty foot running 1.7 and spinning all thru the run. I was down 4 tenths and 4 mph....lol. The track is new and getting better. Maybe bye summer, it will hook good for me.

This 3" dual Magnaflow is very small compared to the one I took off.

Thanks. I am begining to admit to myself, this NA truck will never see a ten second slip without a major change in the Stall, a big Cam, and weight reduction such as race seats/light fuel cell. Just not going to happen.
