I used their provided gaskets, flanges, and bolts. Tighten the bolts a week after the install and you should be set. I've had no leaks or blown gaskets.

Same as Sport Side 5.3, have them for a year now with no issues other than retorqueing and tightening after a week.

Sounds good. I just got back from the muffler shop. The guy recommends that I install the headers and bring him the truck then he will re-weld the cats with 2.25" pipe, then run true duals (never said anything about an X-pipe) using 2.25" pipe and he recommends dual 16" body Stainless Deltaflow Flowmasters dumped befor the axle. What do you guys think?? Is anyone here running the Deltaflows?? THANKS!!

Are they chambered mufflers? I'd probably buy independently, not from a muffler shop....that way you get what you want.

I finnished pulling my old exhaust and stock manifolds out and now I am starting to install the headers. I started on the drivers side b/c I figured that would be the side to give me the most trouble and I was right. But It's not the steering shaft (atleast not yet) THE ******* BOLT HOLES ON THE ******* HEADERS DONT MATCH TO THE HEADS!!!!!!!!!! Do you think its ok to drill out theholes a little??? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are just off a little, I was going to use the 2 bolt holes on the ends to hold the headers in place, then slide the gasket in and thread the rest of the bolts but the holes are off like they werent drilled large enough or slightly in the wrong place or the damn coating is the problem. I gave up for the day and wrote an e-mail to Summit.

Do both headers have the 310Y-c stamped on them? They might have thrown 2 different application headers in the box. That sucks....

No, they are both stamped right. Thats the first thing I check when I pulled them out of the box. I dont know what the hell is going on, either they half assed them to hurry them up (took 6 months to make them specially for me, yeah right) or they found some that someone else returned because they didnt fit. I dont know but I aint too happy.
