Default Finally decided, asking the gurus now.

So I've been going between turbo an camming with gears, needless to say cam an gears won lol. Truck in sig, 4l80 4k stall , lq9 will have 60lb injectors with a tbss intake, 862s ferrea 2.02 intake and 1.57 exh valves, prc dual springs, titanium retainers, multi angle valve job.. milled .030/ now have a 58cc combustion chambers and 3.42s. Plan now is 4.10s an I was thinking the tsp 228 but ive noticed the 222/226 eps an like the way it looks, either cam would be on a 110 as I want a choppy idle. I'm going to be getting tuned for e85 also , I was wondering what yalls thoughts and opinions were of this setup an what if anything I could or should do a little different, truck is my dd and I dont want to rev over 6200.

Thanks Kyle

Any thoughts on the cam choices? I wasnt going to worry about the oil pump, lifters or timing chain to be honest, because I never hear about them failing especially under 100 k miles. Thoughts?

I didnt wanna change em either, even on 65,000,but I was all ready that far in and it's cheap insurance, the push rods for sure after you find out the length.

I did a 224R on a 110 for the 4.8,plus a 3800 circle D converter,now thats all gonna be in the six liter.

typically rhe EPS came need a 7.425" push rod assuming you are using the stock lifters and the heads arent milled. Since yours are... you might be best off with a 7.4" PR. I'm no expert here though so I'll let someone else chime in too.

Should I be concerned if I dont change the timing chain, oil pump or lifters? The ls6 oil pump an ls7 lifters are direct replacement right?
