Default It feels good to finally drive it

I have finally tied up all the loose ends dating back to the 4l80 swap. Little stuff like relocating the coolant tank, installing the old style cruise sytem (since I lost it with the demise of the electronic throttle), re-working my air intake system, making a new bracket for the NOS etc etc. Everything works now except the converter doesn't unlock with the brake-as soon as I get some extra time I will figure that out then it will be finished for a while.

I have put over 500 miles on so far and it feels good. For some reason it seems to have more "mid range power" than before. I can boil the hides at half throttle from a 20 or 30 mile per hour roll now. I think some of that may be that I have almost a 1 point higher compression ratio now with a stock motor.

I am planning on getting some track time this week even though it has turned off miserably hot around here.
