Default Expert GenIII engine help in Illinois?

It looks like I'll be needing to take the truck to somebody in order to get it running right. It appears to be fueling problems, maybe injectors or more likely some other component of the fuel system.

I just don't know enough about what I'm doing to be able to diagnose the problem and I live in Galesburg Il. which is not close to anybody that I know of who has expertise with Gen III engines.

I desperately need recommendations as to where I might get help with getting the engine to run properly. If you have knowledge of where I can get good help please post or pm me.

Thanks, Jim.

I know of a few places. I currently live in Moline during the week. There is a shop in Port Byron called Illinois Dyno Center. Tom and Jesse Calvert are the owners, I know they do a lot with blown gen III's. (309)-523-9200 They are some really good guys, I'm sure these guys will be able to help you.

I was out to Calvert's this morning and asked them if they install the radix kits. they said they have not, but do sell another brand. So check these guys out.

What about LS1speed in Shaumburg?

Looks like they are about 3 hours from you. They are a sponsor on tech.

Where is Calvert's? I have no idea what town they are in or close to. Never heard of them.

Thanks. I knew of them but had the impression they didn't do a lot with Gen III's. Maybe I was wrong. I'll call them and see.

Thanks.... but ... I went to tech and can't find a sponser named Ls1 speed. Have you got any more info? Are you sure you don't mean Speed Inc? They are in Schaumberg.

The father and son that own Illinois Dyno Center are Tom and Jesse Calvert. They are located about 15 minutes outside of the Quad Cities. Moline, IL and Davenport, IA etc.
