The problem is your mufflers. If you like the true motor sound of the dynomax then you would probably like the Hooker Max flows. They are quiet like a Corsa while cruising but get loud, without the deep gurgle, at wide open throttle. They also don't have the redneck straight pipe pop either.

 

My dynomax used to pop violently on deceleration. Not so much tho, after the cam change.

 

Ok. Well i pulled out of the little lady's house tonight and i heard the damn thing popping off of houses. Im going with a different setup. So if anybody knows of or has an old style pacesetter ORY let me know.

 

reading this kinda sounds like my truck!!! when it gets up to around 3000 rpms it will start popping, its like at certain load ranges of the truck though. and when im going pretty fast and just let off the throttle it will kinda pop and bump. i really think it has sumthing to do with the cats because it started doing this after i cut mine out.
i have factory manifolds with factory y w/o cats into 14" magnaflow single in and dual 2.5" out then out in front of the rear tire with my factory regency tips that came on it.

 

Im looking for an oldstyle pacesetter ORY now so if anybody knows of one for sale, let me know.
