I have a regular cab, so mine is Y pipe cutout muffler muffler, pretty much no pipe till after the second muffler, I guess there is about 8" between the Y pipe and the cutout just enough to get over the crossmember.

It cut out the rasp I was getting at about 2500 rpm. I was trying to quiet it down a little, but it didnt work. Its a lot quieter in the cab now, but I think thats cause I re ran the tail pipe and got it further away from the cab

UNless you are SCed or Turboed I would just caution you going with dual 2.5" pipes, that's pretty large without some forced induction.

I learned the hard way that SS doesn't mean rustless. My flow SS has surface rust on it (Im in upstate NY), I've been told by guys who I trust that different grades of SS have different results.
