Anyone know if any dealerships install an auxilary fan on any cars? Bought me some 05 E fans on Ebay and ordered a harness from Derek, went to go install them and there was a small maybe 12" e fan hanging out inside the fan shroud. It was wired to the A/C compressor wire under the A/C compressor relay. I've worked on hundreds of GM's and all the wiring looked stock. The actual conection under the relay/fuse box looked a little shadetree but i'm guessin it was a dealer add on not exactly straight from the factory.
I took lots of pics which i will post up later when i get home.
BTW E fans are SOOOOOO worth it. Truck revs faster, pulls a little harder and uses less pedal to get goin. I'm also glad i did the 05 fans and not the LS1's It looks completely factory.

 

Yeah, there used to be a service bullitin for a/c performance a while back. they had that kit to put on the vehicles to help that.
