Drove thirty miles today and added the gas treatment. So I have three logs and two tunes attached but used three.

First off I put back on the tune named with the 9-3-2021 date code. That was my original tune file and I just wanted to see what would happen. Truck on cold start hated me, belched a lot of smoke and took a long time to finally settle down into an idle with constant surging. I drove on that tune for maybe 20 miles or so. The "Mega Drive on old tune" file is the corresponding log. As you can see when I step on the throttle the truck likes to shoot lean and then finally richen up. Also all of the knock was gone, weird but okay. Fueling is obviously stupid though as I can see the O2 sensors are just going wild.

Second I wanted to double check on the knock since I had edited knock stuff on that tune so I put on the 5-21-2021 date code tune. That one was the exact same thing but I guess since the truck was warm it had no issues starting up. Drove it around for a short little bit and it was fine. Same issues though, massive hesitation when putting foot to floor with the truck going lean and then finally moving. Just anemic as all get out.

Third time I put on the tune I created the other day in a previous post. MAF Test 9.3. This was to just see what would happen on the final mile, didn't floor it or do anything crazy just drove home through the neighborhood. No knock really but normal issue of fueling being off.

I have about 3/4s of this tank left. Tomorrow I will drive some more to try and burn the rest of it off. I think I probably will stick with my old tune, 9-3-2021 tune, even though there are some things in there that seem strange. Firing order and Displacement being a couple. These aren't the cause though since I drove like 2 years on that lol

Eventually I will make it down to a quarter of a tank and will fill up lol

Went to a junkyard today and saw this black Z71 Tahoe. Do you think this grill would fix the way it runs???

Just to keep everyone updated since I am bored. I am back on my original tune before all of this nonsense happened.

Drove it around some more today, about 40* out. It started *almost* right up with one single crank so that is an improvement BUT after maybe a minute it wanted to die and would not idle for ****. Finally farted out this white cloud of smoke and I put it in drive and went on my way.
If I put any throttle on it it will suddenly jump lean and then richen back up to where I am supposed to be at. If I let off the throttle it will richen up to about 11 or 12 AFR and then eventually drop back down.
I also noticed that on my newer tune that I created I am getting a lot of knock compared to what my old tune gave me. I cannot find any difference between the two though that would cause me to have a lot of knock but oh well.

Having said all that it seems to be a massive improvement over what was happening weeks ago. I still have about 3/4 of a tank and am slowly chipping away at it. Considering driving the truck to Summit and back, about a 50 mile drive, but not sure if I'd be playing with fire a little too much lol
I need to fix my AFR gauge baaaad. It only works with the laptop plugged in and my HPTuners device in as well, I am assuming this is because it is activating the USB to read. I am guessing I have a broken wire somewhere in my dash or my ground is bad although it seems to be fine. Need to buy a test light.

Lame... Either drain the tank manually or Burn through it already and get some better fuel in it.

Disconnect the fuel line at the intake, extend the hose to a fuel can and jump the relay. At this rate it will be next year before you get through all that bad gas in the tank.

Put 23 gallons of premium fuel in today, drove straight home and unplugged the battery and let it sit. I'll start it tomorrow morning.

Seems like I have some throttle response back and I was idling at a nicer AFR after the fill up but it could be placebo. Cold start in the morning will be the true test.
