Im a little new here and ive figured out some of it but i was wondering if someone could break down what the engine codes are like lq4, lq9 stuff like that and what years and engines they are. just looking for some general info thanks in advance

Another very useful piece is the Handzel manual you can buy at AutoZone. It outlines the differences in motors/cams/heads/transmissions. It's a good part number cross reference too.
