The new engine is good not burning oil, just thought maybe putting some goodies in it while its sitting on the stand would be a good idea. This has all helped me in my decisions and I will definitely do some thinking while I take care of some body issues on the truck. Thanks for all the help can't wait to report back when I know what I'm doing. So far seems like 4.8 pistons (if I cant find a ls1 rotating assembly for a good deal), my cam and rockers I have and new valve springs, replace all wear and tear kind of items (oil pump, timing chain, lifter trays), and find some bigger injectors.
