Can't go wrong with the L92 IMO.
I've only been around 1 set of these heads, they were on an lq9 with a stock intake and made 410 rwhp.. He did the tuning himself.
I'm making 455 rwhp with stock L92s milled .040..

Both on a mustang Dyno

Milled .040 and the exhaust ports just the casting smoothed down and bead blasted. No real porting at all.

$800 is a good deal. You're going to want more cam, but should make good power.

I'm confused, are these cathedral heads or l92 style heads? I'm asking because I have the RHS 225 heads p/n 54302, paid $500. They had a little over 1k miles on them. And they are cathedral heads.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the replys. This will be the route I go. I wil only have to switch my tbss intake out for the nnbs truck rrectangle port intake. I belive these intakes are the same thing only difference being the intake ports. Can someone confirm? ??
Thanks!
