engine question
#1
if i were to get a 6.0 block, slap a lunati 4.00 crank in it, and some good heads/cam. 4.00 bore x 4.00 stroke = 402 cubes. how well would this combo work? any pros/cons with this bore/stroke combo? what kind of hp/tq would be expected?

That is a good idea but it is the same price for a 4.0 stroke lunati crank as it is 4.125 stroke. I would go bigger if I were you. I am purchasing a 6.0 block from pace 1 and was debating putting a 3.27 stroke (4.8 engine) in it for super rpm's.
As far as your combo goes, either one would be a great n2o engine. Iron block, no overboring, HUGE n2o.

You should be looking in the 450 rwhp range. But, you will need major tuning and head work to achieve that. What you are talking about is not just an everyday swap and start her up. I'm not sure of the size truck you have, but with that combo and also some major tranny and rear end work, you should get 12's on motor if it is a SWB reg cab. Good luck.

i know im going to have to get ls1edit and some bigger injectors, but what about the fuel pump? will it meet the demand of that size engine?
hey jasond25, would there be any clearance problems withe the 4.125 crank and the stock block/oil pan?
anybody else have any input to this combo?
