Next time you think about it, open your hood and place your hand on the radiator hose and have a good friend tell you "i told you so" and proceed to have the hood slammed on your forearm.

That is all...

LOL! Dont bother, they wont push enough air to make any real gains. Less than 10hp I'd guess.

This is the closest thing to being real. It would take 2-3 to do any good. Not to mention the added weight of bigger alternator and batteries.

It has been tried hundreds of times over.

What people fail to realize when doing this is that a massive amount of power is REQUIRED to do this. There is no way to get around it. ing air requires power. compressing that much air that tight requires a lot of power.

for those of you who have seen electric power supplies and such-
do the math. try to get a 50-75hp hp electric generator under your hood.

I have heard of people actually overspinning them and it coming apart because they are pulling more than they can push at high rpms. What do you think happens to the pieces?
There is a video of a civic on the dyno and they hook a leaf blower up to it and got 10-20hp or something like that. That was probably a 1.3L. Maybe you could get about 4 leaf blowers and duct tape them to the bumper and plum them up?
If it makes you feel better then get one.
