the only way it CAN work is if it es air. if it is just a pump accelerating the air- it wont do anything. I think at 100mph ram air makes 0.1psi of boost.

it takes a lot of velocity to create pressure. check out bernuilli's equation on google.

I think its pressure = velocity squared * density assuming constant fluid (air) and elevation.

They work great,but only if you have a really long extension cord.

Gas powered man. You just need a string run through the window to operate the throttle.

guys i know its not going to give much hp..a little more cooler air is all i was thinking..im not getting one anyway.

dude i saw the leaf blower thing, that was kinda cool, i think i'm gonna rig something like that up on my g/f's ford escort, i've been dying to see if i can get it to hit 60

We pulled a beater upto a tree, hit the gas (burnout) and then put a leaf blower upto the carb. you could HEAR it make more power

but we are talking enough air to make more power on a crappy engine. that thing is STARVING for air.
I dont imagine the big easy breathing GEN III is going to be helped much by uncompressed air.
