While there are always deals to be found, generally speaking, most people pick up the ’05 + OEM fans for around 250 bones and the harness is typically around 100 bucks and then add in what ever someone wants to re-flash your PCM to allow the fans to operate, unless you have the capability to do it yourself.

You need some sort of tuning software such as HPT or EFILive...not sure if the TechII has those capabilities since it is a GM factory bi-directional scan tool and not exactly tuning software...

Yessiree, you'll be good to go...depending on which harness you decide to buy or make, you can make pin42 control the temp turn on and pin 33 control ac fans, or just go with pin42 and use the compressor clutch wire to trigger the ac fan(s)
