Are the tables all ready in the pcm? I've been to lazy to hook the hp tuners up to my truck.

My spal controller died a horrible death, and I'd like to put them back on with pcm control.

Yes, they are already there...just need to be enabled and set for whatever temps you choose.

So your efans sit flush with the radiator? I have a homemade bracket on my efans but it leaves a gap on top and i do have cooling issues from time to time depending on weather, maybe that is why? Btw nice job on the homemade intake, looks real clean.

Thanks a lot. Yes, my fans are right up against the radiator core. The slight air gaps it has here and there shouldn't be an issue, but summer will be here soon enough and I'll know whether it works or doesn't.

I like the radiator hose trick, nice work rel3rd. Out of curiosity, is the bigger intake proven to increase cfm's? Logic tells me yes but I would think the oem maf would bottleneck it?

You got me, lol. It's been snowing and icy and/or wet out so any type of even seat of the pants testing is out for now.

I'm just going by what I found out years ago with cars I used to build/race. A little secret...I owned/built quite a few fairly quick Mustangs over the course of about 10 years. One in particular was a supercharged 306ci weekend toy. With everything as it came from the factory, as far as the supercharger plumbing goes, this car made 15# of boost with it's stock 3.5" intake tube. A company called Anderson Performance had came out with a thing called a "Power Pipe", which was guaranteed to make more power.
It's nothing more than a smoother flowing 4" pipe that draws air from inside fenderwell (just like my setup does), that's necked down at MAF meter, also just like my setup. The car made 18# of boost, and went from running 10.50's to 10.30's (2/10ths quicker) and from 128mph to 130-131mph consistently. Still drawing air through the same exact air filter and MAF meter, it did/does what it's supposed to do, so......I figured WTH, it cannot hurt.

The same outfit sells them for NA applications too, and through the years I have witnessed them on cars (by themselves) make more power on the dyno, and run slightly quicker/faster at the track countless times. Obviously, we're not talking BIG HP gains here, but I don't have a race truck anyway. I just try to do some of the little things to it that I personally know have worked on other vehicles in the past. And if it's cheap, or free, all the better.

FWIW, I got 1mpg more on my first tank of gas after the fans, and 1.5mpg more on the 2nd tank...I fill the tank (same station/same pump) and check mileage every fill-up as a sort of preventative maintenance thing.

I swapped to efans recently and there is a noticeable increase in mpg's, just based on my weekly driving routine and where the needle sits
So the Mustang you mentioned, it was able to make more boost just based on the increase of plenum area...am I understanding this right?
I was just asking about the larger intake because its something I've heard mentioned several times.

This is what I like hearing I haven't done mine yet, they're sitting in the closet, was planning to do all my mods at once.

Absolutely. It's a very common addition on even lower HP supercharged cars, because it works. I saw the same results with a Kenne Bell roots style supercharger. From 8# to 12-13#, but that was stock intake tube and airbox, to "power pipe" style setup with cone shaped clamp-on air filter. More boost without spinning supercharger faster equals more EASY HP.

Actually just found an old story from a magazine:

...and even oddly enough, here's one of my old cars still on their site (from 2001):
