If you're still considering the cam that you referred to in the other thread you're going to want bigger primaries than these headers have to offer...and I believe that these headers have 2.5" collectors also. Look into Kooks or
ARH's with at least 1 7/8 primaries, or 1 7/8 stepped to 2"...

what about on a 5.3 with a comp 212/218 low-lift 114*?

you wont feel a peep of difference from 2.5 to 3" headers. I guarantee you that. I went from 1 5/8" 2.5" OBXs to 1 3/4 3" pacesetters and felt no gain.

On a stock engine you may notice a loss, with a combo that warrants the change to bigger primaries and collectors it's a different story...may not "feel" the difference but the performance gains of a matched combo should be seen in either improved 1/4 mile or dyno numbers

The amount of money that Kooks or ARHs costs compared to the extra increase they'll give compared to LPP/Pacesetter/Ebays just doesn't seem worth it. Take TXSilverado for example, he said he has not seen any increase in track times with his new headers compared to his old design pacesetters.

Ordered a set tonite. Also have some lap joint band clamps, a rat fink t-shirt, a valve spring tool , and some other goodies ordered from summit. Ill post results.

just received mine today and am very impressed with the quality for 340 dollars pullin the motor this weekend and hopefully have it done by next weekend if i dont have to work 80 hours next week
