Default Easiest way to pull engine and trans at once???

Well I found a deal on a low mileage full 5.3 motor and trans complete, heard it run and triple checked everything. Even ran a carfax on it and the carfax confirmed the sellers story. Anyway the only thing bad thing is it's still in the truck. What would be easiest and fastest way to pull motor and trans out?

There front driver side is smashed so I don't have to be too careful but condensor and radiator didn't sustain any damage, ac still works.

And I do own a engine hoist just in case people were wondering

Straight out the front.

Remove everything, rad, condenser, core support etc etc.

Unbolt front sheet metal from cab including core support from frame,
Sling engine,
Pull Transmission crossmember,
Remove bolts from engine to frame mounts,
Jack up the engine with the hoist and Pull hard!!!

Nope. There is literally 2 bolts down through the core support. will have to yank grill if its still there. but thats easy...

I believe there a 16MM. Hold the top head and spin the nut off on the bottom.

I'm still waiting for him to get another engine for me. If I get a refund they charge a 30% restocking fee so I say I'd rather just take another engine and save it for my 02 Silverado maybe later down the line

"If" he gets you another one...

Legally they can't charge you a restocking fee for a defective product. Under the warranty they can provide you with another or refund your money after a set amount of time.

Either way if he was on the up and up he would just give you a full refund and let you go away happy.

Hopefully he does make it right.
