Default e-fans almost in...

The problem I'm having is the plastic edge of the e-fan is resting on my radiator. Won't this dent and eventually break a hole in the radiator? Do I trim some plastic off, or just make brackets to keep i off the radiator?

if your talking about the f-body fans, i used some thin rubber pieces that would go on something like door jam moldings like weather stripping.

Thanks guys, but I just cut off the plastic ****. I put one side of the fans into the original shroud bracket, then made two metal strips that hang and mount to the original holes at the top.

I'll try to get some pics if anyone is interested.

And Yes, I was talking about the LS1 Fans.

i did about the same thing when mounting the fans. just used the factory fan shroud holes. and i used another strip of metal to sit on the radiator where the fan shroud set and drilled through the e-fan shroud.

i used the whole stock shroud, and trimmed off the excess. i idint use any metal tabs or anything. the fans come out just as if you were taking the shroud off.
