Default E-Fan Noise

I just got a set of e-fans in today, but one of the fans seems to make a "rattling" noise for a second or two when first starting up. Is this normal? Here's a video of it

Mine don't make any funny noises when they start. I think new fan motors are suppose to be cheap I would just see about replacing the motor if you can't clean it out and get it fixed.

Seems wrong huh? I just got them from a member on here and opened the box to test them, and this. Can I replace the motor for cheap? That's gonna suck if I just dropped $140 and now they're going out.

Have you contacted the seller? 140 beans for fans with a one motor crapped out would burn my *** a bit.

The motor is on the way out.... The rattling sound is sparking between the coils.

yea it sounds almost like its arking inside.... not cool...
I got some LT1 fans about a year ago.. they cooled my truck really good. but they always had this noise about them... So i ordered 2 new motors ~$90 for both of them.. and now i have them wired up to the PCM and A/C only thing i hear now is air moving
