Best thing to do if you wire them yourself is to at least get the plugs from the harness that went to them. Then use 1- 30 amp relay for each fan. Yes, they will be fine for towing. I did it all the time with mine. 93 and up Camaros have them. 93-97 are LT1 fan and 98 and up are LS1's. They are the same except for the housing. The LT1's have vents in the housing, where the LS1 has a solid housing. I have fans from an LT1.
