Default E-fan help

What should I look for when buying E-fans? and should I get LT1 or LS1 fans? I don't what to get something that doesn't work or won't fit.

Sometimes you can find them on eBay. I would imagine you could get some from Billy Graham's fbody salvage. Probably might find some in the classifieds here on LS1Tech.

I got some Flex-a-lite fans that would fit your dad's truck, if he's interested.

I got mine at a junk yard. I checked several places and wanted to much. Then finaly I came to a place were I was able to get them for $90 with pigtails. You can also check ebay.com.

i got mine from a guy on ebay. he always seems to have a large selection of ls1 fans. i was able to fit mine into the stock fan shroud and then used a VSC to control them. everything works perfectly and looks stock under the hood.

Put a WTB in the car section here. Those guys are always selling fans.

I hope this isn't too stupid.... I'm down with going to the boneyard or installing or wiring them, but EXACTLY what am I looking for ?? Fans off an F-body ?? How many fans do they have, and they're adequate for a towing truck ?? What other model cars have fans that fill the bill ??

do what greg said and also check ebay. i found a set of ls1 fans and vsc controller for 100 bucks. i was happy and eagerly paid the man
