Zeake, thanks for confirming that. Now I just need to find a kit with a pipe bent to go around my crossmember. Looks like they are offered with the bend, or without the bend.

I think I had to have the bend in mine. It fit pretty good. It is loud as hell though. I get a drone real bad at 76mph. It pounds my ears. I can normally here a dog whistle though so take that into consideration. It sounds great except for the drone. I have a corsa db diesel muffler to. 300 bucks and it didn't completely cure the drone. I really want to try a 4" factory duramax muffler but I can not spend any money on the truck right now.

Hmm, do you have a sound clip? I'm wanting a quiet muffler and a cutout involved in mine somehow.

FYI, a stock Duramax exhaust is 3.5".

FYI I have heard that some of the newer models have 4". I don't know this for certain. One of the big names is up to 4" Dodge maybe?

Dang it. Can't find the info anywhere. I think it is dodge that has 4" stock exhaust.

It's not a 4 or 3 1/2 it's closer to 3 3/4"
