Default Duramax exhaust on a gasser

Some of you guys have put Duramax 4" exhaust on your gas trucks, I'm looking for some pics. I'm trying to see how things are going to line up at the y-pipe.

I'm about to order ARH LT's with a 4 inch y-pipe, and I'm looking at different 4" Duramax exhaust kits. I'm sure I'll have to build something to join them together, just wondering how close it might line up. Maybe it would involve a cutout?

Thanks in advance!

Zeake: You have the muffler right where the DP finishes?

I would talk to Atomic. He was able to build a 4" exhaust pretty cheap and it came out awesome. He just sold it too.

I ran a Jegs brand 4" diesel exhaust system on my turbo setup. I got the whole turbo back system and all I really didn't use was the duramax downpipe. I've got pics of it floating around somewhere on the site. The whole kit was around $300 too if I'm not mistaken.

I know from reading that KBracing and Trick do a really good job at making their downpipes line up to the stock exhaust. Was there very much work to get the Duramax kit lined up to your downpipes?

Easy as it could be. All I did was get a 3" to 4" reducer . Welded the reducer to the 4" pipe then band clamped the 3" to the 3" down Pipe
