Default Dual exhaust on 03 6.0L?

I have a 03 2500hd with a 6.0 in it. Mild mods, Predator, UPD, Free mods, my next step is exhaust. I took it to an exhaust shop in town and he recommended going with the magnoflow muffler. I was looking to cut the exhaust off before the muffler and going true dual's with the magnaflow mufflers. He was telling me to use a single magnaflow that cross's the exhaust path then run duals out the back. He said that makes a crossover and has real good flow. He said a true dual set up can confuse the computer and make one bank run either lean or rich? I am looking for as much hp as possible ( I know there is much to be found in the cat back of the exhaust) but I figure if I doing it I might as well do it right. He also said that the muffler is fairly quite. If I hammer the throttle I do want to hear the exhaust though. How do these mufflers sound?

The Magnaflow is a very good choice....alot of people here seem to like them very much

I run a true dual setup and have had no problems with one bank running rich or lean (less than 1% difference on my ltrims) so if you want to go that way you can probably do so with no problems...the crossover setup is a better way to go though

Well if you go with two mufflers, that's twice the cost. And you'd need an extra H or X crossover for the exhuast pressure to equalize. Magnaflow makes a muffler that has that stuff built in already. It's just cost effective.

Sorry to here that some muffler shop don't know what they are talking about ,the ECU won't read anything past the B1S2,B2S2, all you're going to get is a little difference in backpressure easy fix with an X(best) or an H to equalize the pressure
