Default Does anyone have the predator programmer?

I've been reading up on this thing. Sounds like it'll will do everything I want it to do. I thinking about taking the jet pcm off and getting the predator to mess with my shift points and rev limiter when I get my cam in.

Didn't someone have a complaint about the 1-2 or 2-3 shift being real slow?

Save yourself about a 150 bucks and get a hypertech if you plan on just messing with the shift points and rev limiter. I see the predator has some nice little xtra features like ignition timing, fuel mixture, and some live data, but if you're goin to spend over 400 dollars, you mind as well go for ls1edit and get a shi*tload more options.

just my opinion

I'd get LS1 Edit but I don't have a laptop. <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />

yes and i got 25rwhp out of it on the dyno. i think we could have squeezed more with more time. You will be able to get programs you can down load from a pc soon.

WEll it all depends on what you intend to do with the truck. if all your going to do is basic bolt on things and gear changes then the diablo is top notch. however if you plan on going into the motor for a cam swap or even a blower of some sort then i would recomend getting the LS1edit now that way you are familiar with it by the time you go with the big mods.It can get complicated but it is by far the best tuning tool for motors with alot of work. the way the tranny shifts with the settings on the diablo was worth the cost to me I am thuroughly impressed with the quality and the service i recieved from my dealer. Get it you wont be sorry.
