Does anybody have that pic of the truck intake cut into to see the inside?

I'm not sure that I'm getting it- is what's happening is that the air is coming out of the log in the center up through that big oval hole, then down into the runners? Is the back half of the log just dead space? Thanks.

The F.A.S.T is the only way to go there, IMO. I also want the extra mid/high range it has to offer.
