Using the stock injectors...

Is it 85% is the reasonable max then you need to get bigger injectors?
I plan to go FI at some point anyway so I know bigger injectors will be needed then.

The 8.1l injectors are popular, would those be big enough for a maggie? If I do need bigger injectors, I dont want to have to buy twice.

85% is the rule of thumb..
If i were you, id get ahold to SRT10Killer... he has some plug and play 72#s

 

I dont know, ive never driven a vehicle with boost. I was planning on 6-8 pounds. More than that and I have to start worrying about the bottom end.

72# seems awfully big... the 8.1s are around 39#, right?

 

Truck 8.1 injectors are 31#, marine 8.1 injectors are 42#...i think thats right

I remember that KBRacing once posted that the 31lb injectors are actually 29.9...

 

Could be. In a stock tune file for an 02 2500 with the 8.1 the IFR table is set to 29.95.
