check fuel pressure with fuel pressure guage sounds like youre loosing fuel pressure, which is due to line most likely in fuel tank... it sucks but it happened to me had to lift bed and fix hose i used for fuel pump, cause it would leak by..

fuel pressure gauge reads 62 psi at idle... i think im just used to the stock pump priming faster. if i turn the key to ign for a sec then start it fires up. Im hoping thats what it is. ill see how it acts

good deal hope thats all it is, on another note, when you turn truck off, does the fuel pressure drop over time. if so how much.. it should hold maybe drop a few psi ..

Sounds like the check valve has been removed from the pump or there is leak in the connection hose. Otherwise you wouldn't have to wait for pressure to build.

yeah, you shouldn't have to wait for pressure. we installed a Walbro in white1's truck and besides sounding a little deeper in tone instead of a high pitched whine you wouldn't know the difference, fires right off like a stock truck.

Still... you shouldn't have to wait fot 60+lbs to build. That should be closer to 60 when you shut the engine off (b/c the pump primes the system for a second or two... at least mine does). I can jump in my truck, trun key to crank, and fires right up.... no wait. Hmm... something's dropping pressure enough for you guys to have to wait for pressure to build up.

Maybe my pump flows faster than the advertised 255lph (Procharger Aux Pump). I dunno.
