yea, i am really thinking about one of those, it would get me by for now and once i upgraded to a bigger pump it would help then also. i think a bigger pump and the boost a pump might just get it done for good.

you could go really cheap and just add an injector with a resistor wired to a WOT switch so itll only kick fuel in at WOT and not have to worry about grams and MAF and other computers. Just a thought, did this on a turbo callaway Jetta once to try it out fire breathing little sucka

DAMN!!!! that sounds like a great idea, i could set the power enrichment so it basicaly doesn't come on till WOT, then hot wire one of the whipple injectors to a WOT switch. then adjust the power enrichment vs rpm on a wide band, seems like that should work well. i could spend the money that i was going to spend on injectors on a wide band 02 set up.

i am pumped up about this, no injectors to make fit, i think it will work. i am going to pass this by the FI guys(harlin) and see what they think.

Let me see... ummm... Isn't that what the whipple computer does? In a nutshell, turns on the injectors at WOT above a certain RPM?

I do like the custom, take it your own hands approach. I also like the idea of using those extra whipple injectors you have sitting in a box somewhere. Much cheaper.

Since your current injectors are OK until the upper rpms, you should get one of harlan's rpm switches. Just like a window switch for nitrous. That with a WOT switch and you'd have what you want. The injector turns on only at WOT and above a certain RPM.

i am not sure how the whipple injectors are controled, i believe there is a program that looks at MAF, rpm, tps then adds fuel, it doesn't know that i have injectors that prety much cover my fuel needs so it will add fuel way too soon. i am worried about lets say 3/4 throttle, before the PE starts working but after the whipple injectors start firing, i think it will go way rich. that may not be a problem though i usualy only go maybe 1/2 throttle max or i go WOT, not much in between.

yea, now were talking, i can turn the injector/injectors on at 5500rpm or so and slightly after that pull a little fuel with the PE vs RPM chart. there might be a 100rpm or so where it is a little rich.
