I suppose I'll need a checking push rod but I have 7.4 trick flow push rods, I just checked the preload and I was at 0.085, but I need to be at between 0.020 and 0.060 ideally 0.030 right? How would I go about finding the right length?

Thanks for the link, I had done some more research on it and found the right preload on the LS7 lifters.

 

What length did you end up going with 7.325?

 

I need to go back and double check the preload. But If they are wrong I'll go with the 7.325's since thats whats recommended and my heads are milled .015

Check the classifieds, you might see some nice new Trickflow 7.4 pushrods soon lol.

 

Well I have some TSP 7.4's coming but I'm using LS7 lifters too, so I'm thinking I'm going to need shorter ones also.

 

I think you might be ok, i just checked mine again and I'm at .070-.075, with the heads milled at 0.015

 

This is on an LQ4 with 243 heads. If that matters.

 

I would think you would be ok, seeming that with 7.4 pushrods and heads milled .015 i was at .075
