If you wanna keep it n/a, you can bore it out to an iron 5.7. Pat G has a 500 rwhp recipe for 5.7. Not easy and not cheap but doubt you can do 500 rwhp with a 5.3 n/a.

Default heads

for stock type heads i would use 243/799 -.030 cut and a little
hand port clean up.
a 450rwhp is a sweet DD ride and is easier to build

That's a good achievable goal and with a good converter and rear suspension set up ie locker and traction aid that will be FUN

Hell yea!! Would you recommend a different piston or will I need to upgrade? And anything else you recommend I up grade? I figured the stock crank would be strong enough, what about rocker arms? Pretty much what stock parts can I use? And I thank you in advance, I'm sorry it's my first build and I want to do it right lol

It kinda depends on how much you want to spend. Thes stock bottom ends have proven to be very strong. Several people on here are WELL over 500hp on boosted applications with stock bottom ends. I've never changed anything bottom end wise so I don't have any recommendations. Did you say the engine is completely appart? If so now would be a good time to upgrade anything but if the bottom end was together I'd inspect it visually and run it. Hopefully someone that has upgraded those things will chime in.
