What gauge steel are these? I'm curious how loud they would be.

You can go in easily from the bottom on both sides. I've installed 3 brands of headers on 99+ Chevy's and there's TONS of room compared to other vehicles I've installed headers on.

Remove the engine covers (if your truck has them). The only other thing I remove is the plugs and wires so that I don't bust one off. You can also remove the steering shaft if you don't have the right length socket extensions, but I've never had to remove it.

Can you get a shot directly underneath the truck, I'd like to see how far they come out with reference to the frame or oil pan.

ya man I will get one and the o2 are pretty easy to get to as well the pass side is actually above the frame so you can get to it. they come out at the front of the body mount, or that is about the best I can describe but I will get a pic up today sometime.
