ya actually there are post about them from a couple years ago and from what I have read about how pacesetter fit these are superior to them. Just my 2 cents

just ordered mine! im so f###ing excited!!! im wondering how they will perform. and also if that coating will be strong enough. would you guys use new GM gaskets or some other aftermarket brand?

screw that I think I will be just happy with my 2.5" off the headers into a 3" single exhaust.

you will have the same thing if you just run a cone that starts at 2.5" and ends at 3"

I got mine last thursday and just looked in the box. i have 3 bolt threaded collectors on mine. nm, just looked at the previous pictures on here and those did too. i was under the impression they had no flanges on em

Nope they do. And honestly you'd be an idiot to do anything to these headers. They are pretty damn nice, imo nicer than pacesetters. If you are that worried about the collector size then just run an expander. I think I will make better average power on a full bolt on 5.3L than the 3" collector would anyway. I was skeptical of the coating, but it's nice it is heat cycled. I baked them in the oven at work at 600 *F for 15 mins and it didn't flake or bubble at all.

These headers are one of the BEST deals that I have gotten in recent memory. Awesome price.
