dbw throttle lag.

Getting a good tune on the transmission will help a lot with what you might perceive as throttle response. They react slowly because stock transmission tunes take forever to shift. That could probably be perceived as lazy throttle response...

I didn't know there was actually lag... Do you mean anything with the electronic throttle body? I believe GM switched over to the e-TBs around 05-06, not sure exactly when though.

My 04 is DBW and there isn't any perceivable amount of throttle lag. My truck is a manual too, so any lag would be more apparent I'd think since it isn't masked by the workings of an auto tranny.
Sometimes letting off the throttle causes the engine to hang a bit, but I think that is cause the truck isn't tuned yet and probably is some goofy parameter in the stock tune.

Funny how GM puts all this crap in and justify it too, but its just a nuisance for people who actually drive their vehicles...
