the guitar guy as in les Paul himself or what..... im a professional guitar player and have only played with les paul's sence i was 14 hints the name les paul

Make for certain the flange of the headers are flat.....I had this problem on a Dodge before and just ended up cutting the flange so the tube in the warped spot could be sucked down to the head. Rare instance, but nevertheless, worth looking at.

I used fel-pro's and to my knowledge, I'm the only one who has with paceseters. they are pretty thick and soak up any imperfections on the face of the head or the header flange... just a thought.

Yeah,the guy himself. I had a musician/music freak friend years back and he had one as well as a Fender bass and some other stuff.

Well back on topic, good luck. Maybe you could try the Fel Pro ones like the guy said if you can't get the bolt out and don't want to pull the head.
