are you still running the stock manifolds? i think i read somewhere that if you put the cutouts before the cats w/out long tubes it'll mess up the valves....not to mention throw some codes from that second O2 sesor

I have my cut-out welded in right before the muffler, until I can get my Cat's taken off.

JR's Muffler on Kingsley in Orange Park, He's cheap and does a good job. If he's busy his brother is in Middleburg, same type of work good and cheap. They are all really nice. Cost me $30 to put my cut-out on and to weld on two turn downs. Man, Nice times for being Stock! I haven't ran mine yet.

There have been a large number of 3" Street Pro Cutouts put on trucks like yours. I think the pipe is 2.75". It's fairly easy for any muffler shop to make the 3' fit. Go to the Street Pro web site to see some really good close up photos of this method.

so....if the exhaust is 2.75, you are making a small bottleneck by going to the 2.5, so why not just get a 3", and expand the pipe??

basically, i'm asking...2.5" or 3"???
