Default Cut-out question

a) should I put on one just for ***** & giggles?
b) what size is the factory pipe? 2.25? 2.5?
c) if the cut-out is a 3" think they can weld it in?
d) would they be able to put it before my cat?
e) THANK YOU

I think the stock is 2.5 but I could be wrong - none of mine is stock anymore. You might be able to get a 3" welded in but I'd look for 2.5 - and most shops probably wont want to put it before the cat but you might find a shop that would.

Heres my DMH electric cutout thread just incase you didnt see it:

man, that cut-out sounds really good. I can take it to an exhaust shop that actually took my cats off for me a few years back and replaced them with hi-flows even though they arent supposed to remove them unless they are bad by law I think that's how it goes. I'll take it to them tomorrow and see what they tell me.

I put the 3" cut-out on mine. WOW, I love it. Gas milage isn't as good with it open, but it sounds mean as crap. I ordered it from Thunder Racing, Very good serivce, shopped in no time.

where did you weld it in at? I took the cut-out to a muffler shop and they told me it was too big. I think they were just being lazy.

yea, I prefer them over anyone else, but I went to this place on Spencer highway that I kinda bullshit with the owner from time to time and he has hooked me up in the past, but he wasnt there. No worries, I'll just buy me something else.
